In 1987 Peter Dorio opened Sochi with one main motivation - to do great hair with a keep it real attitude. Nearly 30 years later nothing has changed. His clientele which keeps him booked solid for months in advance know the difference between a good and a great cut.
In the past 15 years Peter's expertise has been sought after by numerous International companies having him feature heavily for both National and global hair shows and packed out advance cutting workshops.
His work has featured in many industry publications including Vogue, Marie Claire and InStyle magazine. However, even with all his accolades nothing pleases him more than dealing with his daily clientele in his Sochi and having fun. Just recently Peter was announced as National Artistic Director for the UK based company Osmo Ikon.
Nominated for best new salon design 2007 & 2012.

Salon Administrator & Senior Colour Technician
Kayla is a 2nd generation hairdresser who has been surrounded by her craft since birth. Her passion, enthusiasm and technical skills collide on a daily basis to make sure her clients needs are attended to with perfection. Her philosophy is “100% isn’t enough there has to be more”.
Color Technician &
Senior Hair Styler
Elyssa is also a 2nd generation hairdresser with a passion for all things hair however her expertise and passion shines through when she is styling long hair. Her beautiful blow-dries are executed with such conviction she also specialises in formal hair for those “special occasions”.
Apprentices
& Salon Support
Without these two girls support we would not be able to run the salon as smooth as we do. Their attention to detail as apprentices is a credit to them both keeping the salon spotless and tending to clients needs. They both are masters at the basin with incredible massaging skills and they both make a mean coffee.
